1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Bondling, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. The app asks you to accept the current version before you use the Service, and again when a new version needs your agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Apple App Store or Google Play terms also apply to downloads and purchases.
2. Age and accounts
You must be at least 16 years old and able to agree to these terms. Your account is personal to you and is accessed through your Apple or Google sign-in. Keep that sign-in secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
3. The Service
Bondling lets two people share a home and raise a companion together through chat, care, home decoration, games, adventures and related features. Some features need your partner, an internet connection or an optional provider, and features may change, be limited or be temporarily unavailable. We may update the app and its content over time.
4. Homes, partners and unpairing
A home has two members. You can invite a partner by sharing your invitation code; only invite someone who wants to join you. Content and items in a home, including the shared wallet, are shared by both members.
Either member can end a pairing. When a pairing ends, the member who joined moves to a new home of their own; the Bondling, the home, its items and Cookies stay with the member who sent the invitation, and Heartgems are divided between the two of you under the rules in the app. Within 30 days, the pairing can be restored if both of you agree and neither home has changed in a way that prevents it.
5. Your content
You keep the rights you have in the messages, photos, voice recordings, drawings and other content you add. You allow us to host, store, copy, process, transmit and display that content as needed to run the Service, including showing it to your partner and processing it for features you choose, and to keep the Service secure and support you. Only share content you have the right to share. Upload photos of other people only with their permission, and use only photos of yourself to create your avatar.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Bondling to break the law; to harass, threaten, exploit or harm anyone; to share sexual content involving minors or intimate images without consent; to share another person's personal information or photos without permission; to impersonate others; to infringe intellectual property; to spread malware; to interfere with or test the security of the Service; to reverse engineer protected parts of the app; or to use bots, exploits or multiple accounts to gain rewards.
You can report content in your home from the app. We may hide content, limit features or suspend accounts when it is reasonably necessary to protect people or the Service.
7. Cookies, Heartgems and shared items
Cookies and Heartgems are in-app items for use within Bondling. Cookies are earned through everyday play and care. Heartgems can be collected through daily check-ins and other activities and, where offered, purchased. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money or transferred outside Bondling, and are licensed to you rather than sold. A home's Cookies and Heartgems are kept in a wallet shared by both members, and either member can use them. Items, prices and rewards may change.
If a purchase is refunded or reversed, the Heartgems it provided are removed. If they have already been spent, the shortfall is recorded as a balance that new Heartgems repay before they can be spent.
8. Purchases and membership
Where offered, Heartgem packs and a membership are sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play, which show the price, taxes, billing period and renewal terms at checkout and process the payment. Store terms govern payment, cancellation, refunds and restoring purchases. Purchased Heartgems and the Heartgems included with a membership are added to the wallet you share with your current partner, and one active membership benefits both members of the home.
Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your store account. Deleting the app, unpairing or deleting your Bondling account does not cancel a subscription. If you and your partner each subscribe, the app tells you, but it cannot cancel either subscription for you.
9. AI features
AI features are optional and need your separate agreement in the app. AI output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, inconsistent or unexpected, so review it before relying on or sharing it. Some AI features cost Heartgems, and the cost is shown before you confirm. If a creation task fails, the Heartgems charged for it are returned as described in the app. We may limit, pause or switch off AI features for safety, cost, capacity or legal reasons. If the named provider or its policy changes, you will be asked to agree again before new requests are sent.
10. Bondling materials
The Bondling app, characters, artwork, software, text and other materials we or our licensors provide are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. Open-source components are licensed under their own terms.
11. Suspension and account deletion
You can stop using Bondling at any time and permanently delete your account from the Me tab. Deletion cannot be undone: it ends your access, removes you from your home, and you lose the shared wallet, items and membership benefits. The same Apple or Google sign-in cannot register again. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated violations, fraud, security risks or legal reasons, and where reasonable we will tell you why.
12. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, that every item or record will be kept forever, or that AI output will be error-free or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Bondling and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss arising from use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the affected Service in the previous 12 months or the minimum amount required by applicable law.
14. Changes
We may change the Service or these terms. The current terms and the date they were last updated remain available on this page. When a change needs your agreement, the app asks you to accept the new version before you continue using the Service.
15. Governing terms
Mandatory consumer protection and privacy laws of the place where you live continue to apply. Otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of Bondling, without overriding rights that cannot be waived.
